About the Role
Are you ready to shape the pricing strategy of a fast-growing international retailer with a strong value-driven proposition? As Head of Pricing, you will play a central role in defining and executing pricing strategies across multiple European markets. You’ll ensure competitive positioning, drive profitable growth, and lead a team of pricing professionals in delivering measurable commercial impact. And you will be responsible in building the team.

This is a high-visibility role with direct influence on revenue, margin, and customer perception — ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong analytical foundation and a collaborative mindset.

Your Responsibilities
Strategic Pricing Leadership
  • Design and implement pricing frameworks tailored to each market, balancing competitiveness, profitability, and brand positioning.
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop category-specific price architectures that support commercial goals.
  • Contribute to promotional strategies that align with business objectives and enhance transparency and pricing effectiveness.
  • Drive improvements in margin, price perception, and inventory productivity through data-driven pricing initiatives.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization
  • Analyze pricing and promotion performance, including elasticity and profitability impacts.
  • Continuously monitor pricing effectiveness and adjust strategies to optimize results.

Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with broader business goals.
  • Engage in category management processes to ensure seamless execution across departments.

Market Intelligence & Governance
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to guide strategic decisions.
  • Present pricing benchmarks and insights to senior leadership.
  • Manage pricing tools and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.

Team Leadership
  • Lead and mentor a team of pricing professionals, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote organizational values and drive excellence in execution.


Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Mathematics, or a related field.

Experience
  • Minimum 10+ years in pricing or analytics within a global retail or consumer goods organization.
  • Experience in top-tier consulting (pricing/retail focus) is a strong advantage.

Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in pricing and analytical tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Excel, AI-driven pricing software).
  • Experience with big data analytics and machine learning in pricing.
  • Expertise in category pricing, discount management, and margin optimization.

Languages
  • Fluent in English (C1+); additional languages are a plus.
